Had an amazing experience at Subash Hotel in Alleppey! The food was absolutely delicious—especially the seafood, which was fresh and full of flavor. What truly stood out was the warm and welcoming nature of the staff, making us feel right at home. The location is another highlight—the view right in front of the hotel is simply stunning and adds so much charm to the dining experience. First and foremost, I’d like to highlight Subash Chetan, his exceptional customer service, and the warm way he treats people when you visit his restaurant. Even if it’s your first time meeting him, he welcomes you like a long-lost friend—truly amazing. As I was traveling alone, I opted for simple fish meals and an anchovies fry. The fish meal curries were reminiscent of home-cooked food—mildly spiced and healthy. Since Subash’s restaurant was once a toddy shop, they serve authentic toddy shop curries, renowned for their spiciness. You’ll find almost everything you’d expect from a toddy shop here, especially a wide variety of seafood. It’s a must-visit if you’re ever in Alappuzha.
