I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at a place in Kerala that I would not recommend to anyone. The restaurant, which was touted as a local favorite, was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The service was really frustrating. We waited an incredibly long time for our orders, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. The staff seemed disinterested and distracted, making no effort to make the dining experience enjoyable. There was no eye contact or attempt at basic hospitality.Staffs were fighting and shouting each other. Tastes of ordered food were just average. Chicken pieces were too hard in biriyanis, that was not cooked properly. Overall, the entire experience left me regretting my decision. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Kerala dining experience, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other spots in Trivandrum that offer delicious food and proper service. This one definitely missed the mark. “Dear manager/Owner, please give proper training to your staffs regarding basic hospitality and proper servicing techniques. I really feel that the staffs( both servers and billing) are not fit for those positions.The staffs seemed uninterested in providing a good service to the customers.They really don’t want to boost your business. I took parcel from here. Tried paratha, chapati, butterchicken and chilly chicken. The chapati is average and overpriced, paratha is decent but not that much tasty, lacks flavour of ghee. The photo attached is of butterchicken which was 260 rupees, just had 5 small & average size chicken pieces and too much food colour in gravy and chicken but it had good taste and was a bit too sweet. Chilly chicken was below average, dry with very light gravy and had only mild flavour which i didn't like even quantity was average. I feel that food is average quality and overpriced. They have adequate parking facility and the dining area all seems neat and well maintained. Staffs are also friendly. ' The leaf' nilamel Is the best restaurant for fish recipe. Costumer service and atmosphere is awesome. Each staff provides gentle service to customers, and i would like to suggest this place for all foodies. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
