The best cocktail to try here is Coco Swing... Bartender Narayan Mondal has good skills for the same. Thanks for serving us

Located on Bannerghatta road on a rooftop, it is the only Brewery in the area but we didn’t go in with high expectations considering there aren’t too many good places in this part of town. As we walked in, we saw this large and elaborate set – up complete with a projector, terrace seating, full view of the brewery and even a mini pond with a bridge! There are sails in the background to make it resemble a ship and the place is very well lit. We absolutely love the way the place was done up along with all the options of seating.

Beverages
We started off with their Craft Beer sampler. We had the Long Tall Sally, Loreli – Kolch, Bittersweet Symphony, Fade to Black and their Mango Beer. All the Beers tasted good and our favourites were the Mango Beer and the Long Tall Sally. Then we ordered their Summer Thunder, Black Bird, Marooned and their Mango Mojito. Our favourite was undoubtedly the Black Bird which we think all of you need to try as it is a Bailey’s based cocktail.

Appetizer
We started our meal with a large number of starters. We ordered the Tandoor Veg Platter, Chicken Wings Platter, Watermelon Feta Salad, Lotus Stem in Chilli Coriander, Shitake Mushroom with Chilli, Mini Samosa with Beetroot Hummus, Mango Paneer Tikka and the Chicken Tikka. The platter consisted of Paneer Tikka, Stuffed Mushroom, Dahi Kebab and the Malai Broccoli.
The quality of Paneer was excellent as it was soft and succulent. It was seasoned well and very flavourful. The Stuffed Mushroom also was cooked very well stuffed with a good spice mix. The Dahi Kebab was Creamy and soft which is exactly how we like it. The Malai Broccoli was a pleasant surprise as in most restaurants, it tends to be under seasoned but that wasn’t the case here. Moving on to the Wings Platter we were given 3 types of wings which were Barbecue, Peri Peri and Red Chilli Pesto. It was cooked perfectly with each of them having their own distinct flavour which was a delight to our palate. The Watermelon and Feta was seasoned well however, we feel they could have used actual Feta instead of Feta Cream as it would have worked wonders on the dish.
The Lotus Stem was very crispy and seasoned well, it would most certainly appeal to spice lovers. The Shitake Mushroom was just too spicy for us as it was loaded with chillies and we could not eat it. The spice overpowered the entire dish unfortunately. The Mini Samosa with the Beetroot Hummus was easily the highlight of the meal for us as it was impeccable. The perfectly cooked and well-seasoned Samosa complimented the Beetroot Hummus very well, which wasn’t a combination which we thought would work, but we certainly had a repeat of this dish. This was followed by the Achari Mango Paneer Tikka which is a season special as the succulent Paneer paired with a tangy mango flavour appealed to us a lot as compared to most other Paneer Tikka we have eaten. The Chicken Tikka was another highlight in the meal for us as, it literally melted in your mouth along with a strong hit of desirable spice which made our day.

Main Course
For the next part of our meal, we ordered the Bononcini Risotto, Gourmet Veggie Pizza and their Karachi Naan with Dal Makhani. The Rissotto was perfectly cooked, unfortunately, it was rather bland and needed more flavour and seasoning. The Gourmet Veggie Pizza too was a disappointment as it had a peculiar tasting sauce with fairly average quality cheese which we felt needed to be improved. The Naan and Dal Makhani was absolutely perfect. From the way it was cooked to the flavour profile of the dish, there was no flaw or fault we could identify and to make it better, the portion size was very generous which we loved considering we were the four of us.

Dessert
To end our meal we ordered the Baked Cheese Cake, House Made Snicker Bar and the Espresso Pana Cotta. The Baked Cheesecake was perfectly cooked and was just as creamy as we liked it. The citrus element of the Berry Compote which it was topped with cut with the sweetness of the Cheesecake perfectly and it certainly was one of the best we have had in the city. The Snicker Bar also was very well made and would certainly appeal to the chocolate lovers out there. However, it was slightly harder than we would have liked it to be, and we feel a softer and creamier version would have certainly been better. The Espresso Panna Cotta had the perfect consistency which a good Pana Cotta needs to have, where it wobbles on the plate but still as able to retain its firmness. It had a strong Coffee flavour which certainly appealed to us.

Final Verdict
With great ambience and even better food, we were most certainly very surprised with this place, especially when you look at their pricing. This place would be perfect for Saturday night out or for a Sunday afternoon with friends. They even have dedicated indoor and outdoor seating on their rooftop along with a projector and multiple themed nights. We would most certainly recommend this place to all of you considering we have visited this place 3 times in the last one week.

The yellow submarine has a really pretty rooftop. Visited here on afternoon it wasn’t that crowded. I ordered the submarine martini cocktail which was good and a beer cocktail. Coming to food the crinkle fries and the deep dish chicken sausage pizza was decent. Overall a decent place but the rooftop ambience is just lovely.
