Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience at The Sonnet, Kolkata To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my utter disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at The Sonnet, Kolkata. Despite paying a premium price for accommodation, the level of service and hospitality provided was shockingly inadequate. Firstly, upon arrival, we were astonished to discover that the additional bed we paid a hefty sum of 2200 for was nothing more than a mattress laid on the ground. When we requested a proper extra bed, we were begrudgingly provided with a folding contraption that barely qualified as acceptable. The attitude of the manager, Mr. Benedict, only exacerbated our dissatisfaction. His dismissive response that "all guests sleep on the floor only" is not only unacceptable but also contradictory to the exorbitant charges levied for such amenities. Furthermore, despite repeatedly requesting the placement of the extra bed upon our arrival at 8:00 PM, it was not arranged even after our return from dinner three hours later. The lack of attention to our basic needs is simply inexcusable. Considering the substantial amount totalling around 8000 that I have paid for my stay, the quality of service provided is abysmal and does not align with the standards expected from a reputed establishment like The Sonnet. In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed by the level of service and hospitality exhibited during my stay. The Sonnet has failed to deliver on its promises of comfort and quality, and I urge the management to take immediate steps to rectify these glaring deficiencies. Service: 1
