I had been craving for Shawarma since a long time. Finally I happened to order Shawarma from 'The Shawarma Fellow' which is located in Malad.
I ordered 5 Shawarmas, namely,
* Chicken Regular Shawarma, *Chicken Spicy Shawarma
* TSF special shawarma,
*Chicken Olives Shawarma and *Chicken Mexican Shawarma.
I also tried one plate chicken steamed momos. Coming to the taste of each of them,
* Regular chicken shawarma tasted like any other chicken shawarma found at any shawarma outlet. I would give a 4/5.
* Spiciness in chicken spicy shawarma is of green chillies, probably the chef used michi cha thecha (crushed green chillies), which gave a different taste, first it tastes mild and the spiciness gradually increases, it's fire, though it being so spicy, it tasted really well, I would give a 5/5.
* Chicken Olive Shawarma tasted just like the regular one, olives being the only difference, added a different taste, I woulf rate it 4.5/5.
* TSF special Shawarma is a must try from my side. It has butter chicken in it, and proper spicy, well balanced. I loved it. It will definitely get a 5/5.
* Coming to Mexican Chicken Shawarma, yes it is damn tasty, as the name suggests, it has a mexican spicy wave of canyenne pepper, also, it has an indian tadka of chicken masala. I loved it too. I'd give it a 4.5/5. And at last.
* The chicken steamed momos, they were too chewy, it didn't fulfill my taste buds. It's was just ok ok kind off I would give it a 3/5.
PS: All Shawarmas were wrapped in pita bread, which was well cooked, not too chewy, not too moist. Also, the roasted Chicken in every wrap was well cooked. Also, their shawarma was full of chicken, like every bite of it had chicken, just the way I expect my perfect shawarma to be. Overall rating:4.5/5
