This restaurant with takeout dishes is good for those guests who like to have dinner on the go. But google users haven't given The New Kerala Kitchen a high rating.
I recently visited The New Kerala Kitchen in Karkhana, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, and it was a delightful experience for anyone craving authentic Kerala cuisine. This small, budget-friendly restaurant . ₹450 for two offers a taste of South India with a menu that includes dishes like Appam Chicken Roll, Parotta with Chicken Salna, and Neymeen Tawa Fried Seer Fish. I tried the Buff Kizhi Parotta, which was packed with flavor and had a perfect texture. The spices were well-balanced, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. The ambiance is simple, with limited seating and a view of the open kitchen, which adds to the homely feel. The staff were friendly and quick, making the service pleasant. I also appreciated the pocket-friendly prices, which align with the restaurant’s reputation as a quick-serving spot for South Indian and fast food. Overall, The New Kerala Kitchen is a great spot for authentic Kerala flavors at reasonable prices. I’d recommend it for a casual meal or takeaway, Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I used to visit this place when it was called Kerala Kitchen or something - but then stopped due to severe hygiene issues (huge rats running about the place).
In passing, saw a different name and just dropped in to try - at my own risk!!!
Ordered Chicken Malabar curry, Prawns fry and parota.
Prawns fry was "recommended strongly" by the owner - even though I wanted to order another dish. Paid "Rs 380" for this item alone, which is mostly onions and currypak! Prawns were actually shrimp, very dry and the smallest and cheapest you can get in local market - counted around 8-10 pieces! Not cleaned - though the owner assured us that they clean it! Very disappointed. Pls reduce the price and provide better quality. Make sure u clean the prawns!!! Clean means removing the guts and the vein - top and bottom of the prawn, that runs the whole length of the prawn! People eating without cleaning will get upset stomach!
