Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. The Monk offers you to try nicely cooked Dim sum, broth and lamb. Good coconut ice cream, caramel ice cream and sesame ice cream are the tastiest dishes. You will hardly forget delicious whiskey, wine or liqueur that you can drink. Take your chance to taste great coffee.

We had a small meal here. The chicken with ginger dumplings were average. there was not much flavor. In the main course, we each took one bowl. I had the sole with rice bowl. Again, the flavor was average...reminded me of Indo-chinese food. My partner took the drunken chicken with sticky rice - that was a real disappointment. It was full of spices (note: not spicy, but just too many spices) but the flavor came out after a five seconds of chewing the chicken. There was no scent or taste of ginger or wine/liquor. Again, it tasted like some mish mash of Indian and Chinese flavors. Drunken chicken typically has a very subtle taste. The rice was goopy and stuck to the bottom of the bowl. I came here because of the highly rated reviews...unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations.

Monk used to be a fantastic place when it was at the Galaxy Mall. Unfortunately, the food quality has gone down a lot and now it just tastes like a cheap desi style asian food joint with too much oil and spices. Very disappointing to see such a nice place go to trash!

I visited The Monk (32nd) for dinner and had a wonderful experience! Our server Antima was extremely courteous and attentive — she made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.The highlight of the night was definitely the Prawns Udon Noodles — packed with flavour, perfectly cooked prawns, and just the right balance of spice and texture. Absolutely loved it!Great ambience, prompt service, and delicious food — will definitely be visiting again.
