The varied menu based on Chinese and Japanese cuisines is what you are offered at The Japanese Restaurant & Garden. Nicely cooked rolls can make a good impression on you.
Worst new year party ever at this place. Couldn't organise a thing. No food no alcohol no water no music. It basically suckeddddd. I don't want to go to this place again. Everrrr
Visited this place for dinner with family. Had crab sushi, sticky rice, prawn tempura. The place is small and cost, the outdoor seating space is ideal for a winter lunch. The service is fast and great. The food is "ok". Not that amazing. The pocket pinch is on the higher side. Overall, the experience was "ok".
The day before yesterday, I visited the mini Japan of kolkata. It's located inside Eco Tourism Park, near gate number 1.
This restaurant is situated inside the forest and they have outdoor and indoor seating arrangements. If you want to visit there, just call the restaurant before entering because they've a separated entrance. Otherwise you'll be charged ₹10/- per head as a entry fee to the forest.
This restaurant has simple but authentic Japanese dishes. Service was good. Average ambience.
I had ordered • 2x Ocha (Japanese Tea), • 1x Gyoza Soup, • 1x Sushi (cheese) Maki. Food quality was good enough. But I didn't like the taste of Gyoza Soup. Otherwise all the items tasted awesome! I really loved the Sushi dipping sauce that they provide.
And one more thing I loved about this restaurant is, all the utensils they serve in, like saucers to chopsticks, everything is imported from Japan!
Overall it's a very peaceful and divine place.
If you want to have a glimpse and taste of Japan, then it's a must visit place for you!
