I am writing this review for The Grand Thakar Restaurant and particularly for ‘Sponge’ Cake shop by The Grand Thakar. I ordered full cake from swiggy to celebrate someone’s birthday but they sent me a piece of pastry instead. And then try to call restaurant to resolve the issue, they switch off their phone. I tried to call on a number which I got from swiggy, no response received from that too. Ultimately i filed complaint in swiggy, and fortunately they understood my problem and resolved my query. But TGT never worried about my complaint and switch off their phone. They always to show off that they care for customers, but this is the reality they just show off and don’t care about customers’ sentiments. I personally will never visit this pathetic restaurant which is there to loot the customers only. I was fan of TGT before this incident, but this incident opened my eyes.

Went here to eat their famous Gujarati Thali. The price is extremely affordable. The thali is only available during lunch time. The seating is good. Service is fast and efficient. The taste of the items were good. Loved the Basundi. Everything is unlimited including the sweets. Overall totally worth it if you are in Rajkot.
