I’ve been a loyal, repeat, whatever-you-wanna call it, customer of The Giant Panda Restaurant in Bhopal for years now, and I’m always excited to visit whenever I’m in the city. This time, we decided to grab a quick bite while we were shopping at DB Mall. We ordered a few of their specialties, and let me tell you, they were all absolutely delicious! We started with the Chicken Thai Herbs dim sum. It was a delightful combination of basil chicken dim sum with a sweet and spicy Thai herbed sauce. The soft texture and flavour were simply heavenly. Next, we tried the Veggie Thai-style spring rolls. They were crispy on the outside and filled with a refreshing mix of vegetables. They were a great side dish to our main course. For our main course, we opted for the veggie Udon Noodles. These thick Japanese wheat noodles were tossed with sesame seeds and fried garlic. They were so tasty and comforting. Now, I’m not a big sushi fan, but I noticed that they seem to have a wide variety of sushi options for those who enjoy it. As for drinks, we tried the Mango Spicy and Grape Fruit Berry Lemonade. The Mango Spicy was a refreshing balance of sweet and spicy, while the GFB Lemonade was a delightful combination of sour, bitter, and sweet. The ambience at The Giant Panda restaurant has remained pretty much the same over the years. It’s a warm and inviting place that feels like a cozy little family restaurant. While it’s a great place to grab a bite, I do think they could consider updating the decor a bit to keep things fresh and exciting. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at The Giant Panda Restaurant. If you’re ever in Bhopal, I highly recommend checking them out!
