I with my family usually stay at The Ferns Satara but since they were acting too pricey with their rates and not willing to budge, inspite of being a regular guest(we must have stayed there at least 8 to 10 times) we decided to stay at The Ferns Karad, this time on our way to and from Goa. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. Their rooms are clean, well kept and comfortable. The food at the restaurant (although smaller than Satara restaurant) was amazing, fresh and tasty. I want to specially mention Mukta, who was very courteous, polite and always available be it late evening or early morning. She was there at the reception always cheerful and smiling and really sweet. Kudos to her. Next time travelling on NH48, if you need a break stop, it's worth stopping at The Ferns Karad, because it is really homely and comfortable. Do give it a try. Service: 5
