We visited Earth Plate at Sahara Star International Hotel (near Mumbai Airport) for our anniversary dinner with my wife and kid, and it turned out to be a really memorable experience. The property itself is grand and beautifully curated, giving a premium, rich vibe the moment you walk in. What stood out equally was the staff—everyone we interacted with was cordial, attentive, and genuinely willing to help. A lovely surprise for us was that many staff members spoke Marathi, which is my mother tongue. It instantly made my family feel comfortable, especially since they aren’t very fluent in Hindi or English. Coming to the food—absolutely sumptuous. There’s a great spread across Indian and Continental options. I especially loved the salad section—never thought I’d say this, but the salads were genuinely delicious and well-crafted. Desserts were awesome, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the entire dinner. Overall, a wonderful place for a family celebration, and I’ll definitely recommend Earth Plate to others. went to this place booking on Zomato where the price displayed was 2500 plus taxes. As soon as they make us sit, we are told that the buffet is 3500 plus taxes. Anyway - since we are here , we decide to enjoy the food . Once they have us seated, they have forgotten we exist, no water serves - no cutlery on the table. To top it all- some sales woman comes to us and starts selling us membership and we tell her, can we at least first take some food. She says ok but insists on taking my number. We ask for water and it takes forever to come. We go get starters and wait forever for them to even give us forks. The bill took almost 15 mins to come where they charge 7% for service charge which is almost 500. For what service ? The good spread was wide and some of it actually tasted good but everything was cold. Absolutely nothing on the plate was hot. The desserts were also a good spread and were actually nice. All in all - disappointing. Not worth the money when the service is bad and the food is cold.
