Firstly, regarding the room you booked: You had reserved a Double Budget Room, which is clearly listed on Agoda as a non-AC garden-facing room. The photos and amenities for each room category on our listing are carefully provided to help guests make informed choices. The sea-view and AC rooms are part of a separate luxury category and are priced differently. We do our best to accommodate upgrade requests when possible, but a nominal price difference is involved for the additional features, which is standard across the industry. You had requested a table fan during your stay; unfortunately, we did not have a spare available at that moment, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused. As for the location, DucknChill is nestled along the beautiful Agonda Beach, surrounded by Goa’s characteristic greenery and serene nature. We are located just off the main road—after crossing the small bridge, we are immediately to the right. This area is well-loved by many travelers seeking a peaceful, scenic escape, including numerous solo female guests who have shared positive experiences regarding safety and comfort. We are especially concerned about your comments regarding staff behavior and nighttime disturbances. This is not reflective of the experience we strive to provide, and we are already looking into the matter. Our reception team is usually well-rated for hospitality, and we will ensure further training is given where needed. For guest safety, we do have security on the property at night and will make sure emergency contact details are better communicated moving forward. We truly value all feedback, both positive and critical, as it helps us grow and improve.
