After a long journey from Kaziranga, we were looking for a warm, ambient place to dine near Police Bazaar—and City Hut Family Dhaba didn’t disappoint. Just a 5-minute walk from the city center, it welcomes you with a beautiful rustic setting—bamboo décor, flowing water features, and life-sized figurines that kids will love. The menu offered a mix of Indian, Chinese, and Italian cuisines with ample veg and non-veg options. We tried chicken clear soup, drums of heaven, fried chicken momos, chopsuey, and dal fry with rice. The food was flavorful, portions generous, and well-presented. The momos and chopsuey were standout dishes—authentic and delicious. While pricing was on the higher side and the service a bit slow, the staff was courteous and attentive. A cozy, family-friendly spot perfect for relaxed conversations and quality time.
