My recent visit to The Chimbori Seafood Kitchen on a Sunday afternoon, unfortunately, was a significant disappointment, especially given its reputation as a seafood establishment. I had high hopes for a fresh and flavorful meal, but what I received was nothing bit disappointment. To start with, they have an elaborate menu, but most of the things are not available. This initial misstep set a concerning tone for the rest of the afternoon. The main course, the Pomfret Goan Curry was an utter disappointment as it tasted far from what it was supposed to be. Beyond the food, the service was also underwhelming. Our server seemed harried and inattentive, taking an excessive amount of time to bring food and clear plates. As for the ambience, the tables are placed very close to each other. The place is rather warm, in spite of having air conditioning. For the price point, which was quite steep, I expected a far superior dining experience. Instead, I left feeling cheated and with a distinct aversion to seafood for the rest of the afternoon. I cannot recommend The Chimbori Seafood Kitchen to anyone looking for fresh, well-prepared seafood or attentive service. It was a truly bad experience, and I will not be returning. Been here for lunch, speciality is sea food (ultra speciality in Crab = Chimbori) We had: - Crab Soup (Amazing) - Pomfret tawa fry (Okish: Tawa fry wasn’t crispy. It was bit kind of Fish Fry Sukkha. You can compare is kind of Chicken Sukkha) - Mutton ra ra masala (It was good) with Aamboli (if you don’t know, think of it rice roti, you should try it) and Jira rice - SoulKadhi (Must try - delicious ) Parking is available in front of restaurant. Ambience is okish and service is bit slow. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
