The restaurant did not live up the expectations I had. Food was mediocre. Himalayan Food is quite tasty but the whole taste was missing. Service was quite bad, the staff was roaming all over the place. It took them 22 mins just to take orders.

Loved the experience! The food was really good, cocktails were amazing, and the live music made the evening perfect. Great ambience and totally worth visiting.

1/5 - Overhyped and disappointingIf I’m not wrong, this place is run by the same people behind Sidecar and Cocktails & Dreams, but The Brook is nowhere close. Honestly, it’s a black spot in the name of a “speakeasy.”I made the mistake of choosing this place for my birthday. They refused to give us a decent table for a special occasion and made zero effort to make it pleasant. The plum cocktail was overly sweet, and the service was terrible, the waiter kept forgetting our order. There’s nothing “speakeasy” about this place. No hidden entry, no mystery, and the lighting is way too bright for the vibe they claim to have. Around 11 PM, the owner/manager (wearing a cap) came in and sat there staring at customers, it was honestly creepy and uncomfortable. They didn’t even have cold beer, we had to wait 15–20 minutes for it to chill in a bucket. Beer options were just Budweiser and Kingfisher Ultra, what kind of “bar” is that?Food was average and overpriced, the menu seems like a bunch of cheap quickfixes disguised as premium food.Butter Pepper Garlic Prawns: good but tiny portion, weirdly served with thick bread.Jackfruit dish: bland.Beans in Peanut Sauce: okay.Chow Chow Noodles: decent but nothing special.Overall, The Brook is all talk, no soul. You’ll spend a lot, get little, and probably leave disappointed. Definitely not worth it.
