I recently visited Basil Street and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was poor, and it was evident that the staff were not properly trained to handle guests. We tried seating outdoors by the lawns, where bonfires were set up. However, there wasn’t one at our table. When I requested a bonfire, I was told that the only one left was reserved for the restaurant staff. This response felt unprofessional—either they should arrange extras for guests or provide a better explanation. It highlighted a serious lack of training and customer focus. The ambience overall was below average, failing to create a welcoming or enjoyable atmosphere. For a place that could have potential, the management needs to invest in staff training and improve both service and environment.
