Hi, To clarify your "confusion": I visited your establishment around New Year's. I am posting this review now to share my experience, as Google Reviews allows users to share feedback at their convenience, not strictly while they are seated at the table. The fact that you are currently closed for renovation does not erase the service I received when you were open. My feedback stands: - Wait times: It took 25-30 minutes to be served. - Food Quality: The veg platter quantity & quality was disappointing, specifically the boiled cauliflower which did not match the price point. - Service: We constantly had to leave our seats to find a waiter to place orders as we were seated in the balcony area. I originally left this review simply to share honest feedback in hopes of improvement. However, your response—implying a customer of lying rather than investigating the issue—is far more disappointing than the service itself. zero star option is not available here Visited on: 1st January 2026 I went to Tat Café in Rishikesh today with a group of friends, and sadly, it was a complete let-down. The place looks decent from outside, but the food and service are far from acceptable. We ordered pizza and pasta, and both were a huge disappointment. The pizza was poorly cooked, with a soft, doughy base and hardly any toppings. The cheese tasted artificial and had no real flavour. It felt more like something taken out of a freezer and quickly reheated rather than freshly prepared. The pasta was equally bad — overboiled and covered in a thin, tasteless sauce. There was no richness, no seasoning, and no effort put into it. We couldn’t even finish our plates because it was simply not enjoyable. When we tried to give our feedback to the staff, their reaction made the experience even worse. They were rude and dismissive, as if customer complaints didn’t matter to them at all. Instead of handling the issue professionally, they made us feel uncomfortable for speaking up. For a café located in a popular tourist destination like Rishikesh, this kind of quality is unacceptable. The food is overpriced for what you get, and the service is poor. You definitely don’t get value for your money here. There are many much better cafés in Rishikesh that respect their customers and serve good food. Tat Café is not one of them.
