A must-visit if you’re in Kasauli! We randomly walked into Taste of Tibet and ended up having one of the best food experiences of our trip. The food was beyond amazing—authentic Tibetan flavours like I’ve never tasted before. We had kothe momos, chilli paneer momos, noodles, and ramen, and each dish was full of flavour, freshly made, and super satisfying. But what really made the experience special was the uncle who runs the place. He’s one of the sweetest people we’ve met—so warm and welcoming. He served everything with a smile, chatted with us like family, and genuinely made sure we felt at home. It never felt like we were eating at a shop—it felt like we were being hosted by someone who truly loves what he does. If you’re visiting Kasauli, don’t miss this spot. Go for the food, stay for the vibe, and definitely have a chat with the uncle—you’ll leave with a full heart and a fuller stomach! A very warm and lively restaurant at kasauli, everything on the menu was as authentic as it gets. We ordered Dry thukpa and momos. I love the curated meals and there was no place to sit as it's always hustling and bustling with customers waiting for their turn which in itself speaks volumes about its popularity. Plus the owner was kind enough to give some discount. This was a surprise find while walking up and down the mall road. The elaborate menu of Laphing, Siddu and Bibimbap and even Bhutanese food caught our eye and given the family of food lovers, we immediately descended on the restaurant. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were cooked to perfection, portion were good and the prices are very reasonable. We ate as if there is no tomorrow and didn't really feel a dent in the pocket, average was Rs 500 per person. The owner is a sweet old man, very trusting, but be prepared to wait for 15-20 minutes if you are visiting around lunchtime, and on a weekend. The shop is housed within another heritage property of 1862, the Grand Maurice, which is now a boutique hotel. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
