Tucked in the by-lanes of Bandra, TDT’s comfy interiors and Parisian-style street lamps make for the ideal spot for all those catch-up sessions. With pastel themed interiors that have an elegant French charm, this two-story cafe is spacious, cozy and perfect for a tea party. It was inspired by the extravagance of Versailles Palace. Think arches, monogrammed cutlery, elaborate chandelier, and marble tables, all with a French aesthetic. As you step inside you will notice the baby powdered blue colored walls, chandelier and Portuguese titled floor seem to make you feel like you have walked into an upscale Macaroon store in the streets of Paris or London. Behind the long display of tea is a cafe that serves a range of snacks and meals to accompany your tea of choice. Coming to the food, it’s an all-vegetarian affair and the tea bar with several varieties of tea from 17 countries. 'Bagels', 'Mezze Platters', 'Cheese Toast', 'Risotto', 'Hummus' and more make up their appetizer and main course menu. You can easily eat an entire meal here and wash it down with some tea and dessert. A unique thing about their menu is that each dish on their menu had a tea suggested that compliments each other. The service of this place was top notch. Overall it is the only café in Mumbai where you get to experience the Victorian-themed, English tea room type of ambiance. .
