After visiting Peddamma Temple, you can look over the menu at this restaurant. Moroccan cuisine is to the pleasure of all guests here. Nicely cooked apricot chicken, taro and moroccan lamb might be what you need. At Tara Moroccan Kitchen, visitors can have tasty orange cakes and good cheesecakes. It's nice to taste delicious tea, bread drink or lemonade.

July 2025 I had been wanting to try this Moroccan cuisine for a while and was quite excited to visit this restaurant. Finally, my wife and I decided to go for lunch here. When we stepped in, the place was almost empty—but we didn’t mind as it was midweek. We settled down and ordered tagines, which are traditionally served with khobz (a Moroccan pita bread). However, when the food arrived, it was served with rice instead. Only when we asked, the staff told us they had run out of khobz. This should have been communicated while ordering, but all we got was a casual “sorry.” The washrooms were also not very pleasant—the wash area had cleaning supplies stacked around, which didn’t feel hygienic. Also, place was quite warm and air conditioning is not sufficient or working for sure. Now the most critical part: while the food tasted quite good, both my wife and I ended up with food poisoning later that day. We had ordered completely different dishes (one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian), so what are the odds both of us got affected unless there’s a serious hygiene issue? We had earlier noticed similar comments in a few reviews but ignored them, thinking it might have been a one-off case. Clearly, it wasn’t. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I sincerely request Chef Aneesa Waheed to look into this matter seriously if she cares about her diners health. One of its kind, Tara Moroccan Kitchen is the only restaurant in Hyderabad serving an elaborate fare of Moroccan cuisine with star dishes like Tagine, Bastilla, etc done beautifully well. The ambience felt a little too dim in terms of light but the added frills with the carpets and wall hangings made it pretty. Dishes that I tried and found to be good included 1.) Bakkoula Tagine - A slow cooked mutton dish powered with the addition of spinach and green chili, reminiscent of Indian saag taste. This comes served with flavoured rice and khubus bread making it a full meal sufficient for 2. 2.) Rabtya - Milk custard topped with sweet date syrup and fresh fruits. Very delicious and only mildly sweet! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
