I recently visited TGF The Grand Fauji and had a mixed experience at the restaurant. While the food was undeniably great, I was disappointed with the service and the overall management of the establishment. Let's start with the positive aspect of my visit - the food. I had the pleasure of savoring the paneer pahadi, roti, naan, and pulao, which were all flavorsome. The Punjabi food offerings certainly lived up to my expectations and left me satisfied. However, my dining experience was marred by the inadequate service provided by the staff. When we, we were informed that there was a party taking place on the first floor. The staff informed us that due to the party, we could either place our entire order at once or face a lengthy wait of 20-30 minutes between courses. This restriction felt unnecessary, especially considering that only 2-3 tables were occupied on the ground floor where we were seated. It was frustrating to feel rushed into placing our order, as it took away from the otherwise relaxed dining experience. Furthermore, the management's decision to host a party on the first floor while leaving the ground floor open for regular dining seemed ill-considered. With only a handful of tables occupied, it was perplexing why the entire restaurant couldn't accommodate regular customers comfortably. The lack of foresight in utilizing the available space effectively left a negative impression on me and made me question the restaurant's ability to handle a partially occupied establishment. In conclusion, TGF The Grand Fauji offers excellent food, but my overall experience was tainted by the management's handling of the party and the subsequent impact on regular customers.
