Sunset Ashram

Sunset Ashram, located on Ashwem Mandrem Rd near the beautiful Ashwem Beach, is known for its casual and inviting atmosphere that appeals to both groups and tourists. With offerings such as beer, wine, cocktails, and a variety of small plates, patrons can enjoy lunch, dinner, or dessert in a setting described often by visitors as lively albeit expensive. The establishment provides convenient amenities like a bar on-site and public toilets, coupled with street parking available free of charge.

While the restaurant offers dine-in and takeaway options and prides itself on a selection of spirits, the current status of Sunset Ashram remains uncertain, with hints from visitors indicating changes in management and unexpected closures. Operating daily from 10 AM to 11 PM, it promises a scenic location where guests historically appreciated the drinks and appetizers before heading to the beach. However, the lack of recent updates from the owners leaves its current operational status unclear, sparking some reports of it being replaced or closed entirely.

Overall, despite these uncertainties, the restaurant's ambiance has been complemented by past visitors for solo dining and gatherings alike, amplified by a great beer selection and a scenic beachfront view conducive to unwinding with refreshments. Until further details are provided by its management, potential visitors should seek confirmation of its availability during their travel itineraries to avoid any inconvenience.

Wasn't even open when we visited. Probably shut down like those plenty seasonal restaurants in Goa. Don't waste tour time.
