My husband and I reached out to Candida to design and bake our dessert table. As people who cook often and eat out as well, we were quite stubborn about the kind of flavours we wanted. Something chocolate, something fruity, something vegan, something black. And Sugar bowl made all of that happen and more. Our guests were so happy with the desserts. The black chocolate cake turned everyone's tongues black, which was super fun. It was addictive. Not grainy at all. Very good fluffy and silky form, and just the right amount of sweet. We also had passion fruit mini cheesecakes. They were amazing. The tang from the cream cheese was evident, the passion fruit compote was packed with flavour. Our vegan friends loved the basbousa as well and we're delighted to have an option for vegan as well. There were also pineapple and coconut cupcakes and lemon curd mini layered cakes. They were so popular that I managed to snag just one cupcake (the last one) but the lemon cakes were gone :( maybe I'll call Candida for a repeat of all my favourite desserts soon when I come to Cochin next. Her work is artful, sincere, authentic, and very very tasty. Thank you for making our party a success. I can't wait to eat these desserts again and I wish I had a time machine I could use to go back in time and eat some lemon cakes.

I have dealt with the very best in Cochin for all of my close family functions when it comes to baking and desserts. But this experience was bitter for me because there was no agenda told to us in the beginning. Looked like the person in charge was too busy with other things instead of a new client. Very unprofessional service. Had to cancel their services the last minute.
