I recently visited Sudamache Pohe, located beside Shaniwar Wada in Pune, and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The cleanliness was subpar, to say the least. The tables and surroundings were littered with trash and leftovers, making it unbearable to sit and eat The owner was even more appalling. When I politely asked him to exchange my pohe as it was not prepared correctly, he was extremely rude and arrogant. He seemed completely unbothered by my complaint and didn't even apologize or offer to replace the dish. The lack of customer service was staggering. The staff seemed uninterested in attending to customers, and when I asked for a refill on my drink, it took an inordinate amount of time. The pohe, which is supposed to be the star of the show, was mediocre at best. The quality didn't match the prices they charge. Given the poor service and the service, I would not recommend Sudamache Pohe to anyone. The lack of accountability was shocking. When I brought the issue to the owner's attention, he became defensive rather than apologetic. It's disappointing to see a business prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. If you're planning to visit Shaniwar Wada, I would advise you to avoid this place and opt for a different eatery. Trust me, you won't regret it. Sudamache Pohe's poor quality and service make it a waste of time and money The ambiance was also not as expected. Given its location near Shaniwar Wada, one would expect a more authentic and historic setting. Instead, it felt like a hastily put together stall. Overall, my experience at Sudamache Pohe was a letdown. With so many better options in Pune, there's no reason to settle for subpar food and service. I'll make sure to share my disappointing experience with friends and family to avoid them from visiting this place.
