I visited Subway Besant Nagar today and was quite disappointed with the hygiene standards. The servers were wearing caps that covered only part of their hair, clearly prioritizing hairstyle over proper food safety. Hair nets or full coverage caps are basic hygiene requirements in food service, and this was missing. What was more concerning was the veg section — the tandoori patty appeared molded and had visible fungus-like patches. This is unacceptable and raises serious food safety concerns. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve hygiene, staff training, and quality checks. Customers expect better from a brand like Subway.
