The location of resort and view from there is as you can see in the pictures The food is good, everything is made fresh including desserts. The only complaint and a major one is the rooms, the moment I entered the room it smelled bad, bathroom was even worse, I had the housekeeping staff clean again and the smell still persisted I will recommend the place for the view but not for the rooms Service: 5

Our stay at State Beach Boutique Resort and Spa, Kannur, was truly a memorable and refreshing experience. The location itself is stunning, with a mesmerising view of the ocean that instantly creates a sense of calm and serenity. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of the sea right from the room is something truly special, and the fact that the rooms come with a sea view makes the stay even more magical and immersive. One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service, especially by Mr. Bhagirath. He was extremely kind, warm, and friendly, and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. His hospitality added a very personal and human touch to the entire experience, making us feel genuinely welcomed rather than just accommodated. Staff members like him truly elevate the quality of a place. The food at the resort was good and enjoyable, and the complimentary breakfast was a lovely addition to the stay. It was well-organised, fresh, and satisfying, making mornings at the resort both relaxing and convenient. Dining with a view of the ocean only enhanced the overall experience. The ambience of the property is peaceful and elegant, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway, whether for families, couples, or solo travellers. The combination of nature, comfort, and hospitality creates a very balanced and soothing environment. The only small suggestion for improvement would be to expand the vegetarian food options. While the food quality was good, a wider variety of vegetarian dishes would make the dining experience more inclusive and enjoyable for vegetarian guests. Overall, State Beach Boutique Resort and Spa is a beautiful property with breathtaking ocean views, comfortable sea-facing rooms, excellent service, and a warm hospitality experience. With slightly more vegetarian options, it would be close to perfect. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kannur. Service: 5
