I had organised my sons 30th birthday party in the Beach Terrace . It was for 24 adults and one kid . It was a very simple menu , a soup , 2 non veg starter , 2 veg starter , 2 non veg starter , 2 main dish , 2 main side dishes and a desert. I had coordinated few ahead of the party with event organisers Ms Ruth and Mr Sridhar and paid and an advance of ten thousand rupees . They said they will give a 15% discount . We had many phone call discussions .
The party was to begin at 18:30 hours . The guests arrived late. we were all seated in the table by 19:30 hours . Except the soup nothing was served to us . We were sitting around and no starters were served . By 20:15 all the guests were becoming restless and I almost became hypoglycaemic .
My niece and our best friend had almost walk into the kitchen asking for food . Then the non veg starts was served . Then came one plate of veg starters and there were 10 persons waiting for vegetarian dish . We waited for half an hour for that one dish to be served . Then my niece had to go down to beg them to serve at least one main dish to be served .Then the whole chaos stated all the dishes came in jumbled order with no serves to serve people of different preferences(veg/Non veg) . They were just dished out on to the tables without any decorum . They ruined the whole party and moved me to tears .
There was no organisation , no supervision and everything was in shambles.
I paid a bill of 50,000 rupees which included a cocktail for 9000 rupees .
They did not even have the courtesy to give further discounts for all the unpleasant experiences .
I honestly wish I had donated the money to an orphanage .
THE WORST NIGHTMARE OF MY LIFE .
I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE .
