Had a satisfying lunch at Sree Narayana Hotel, located en route Perumbavoor–Munnar. Although I couldn’t indulge in the famous beef fry due to my diet, I was told it’s excellent by my friend who had—slow‑cooked to perfection and served on a banana leaf. I opted for the veg meals which was absolutely delicious and authentically Kerala. The traditional banana-leaf service, homely side dishes like sambar, thoran, and pickle all come together in a simple yet memorable meal. The place is small and can get crowded during lunchtime, but the food and service are worth it. Affordable and satisfying—highly recommended for anyone looking for flavoursome Kerala meals near Perumbavoor!
