The environment is very good

Just one of the worst eateries in acropolis. We went there with an expectation of Sigree standard but was disappointed with the quality of staff, food quality compared to the rates and quantity. More to dissatisfaction is the range of cutlery they use to serve the main course. Just pathetic. Road side food is way better in taste than spicery.

Winter in Kolkata gives us that perfect reason to catch up with friends, near and far.???? When it came up to have that uniquely Indian street food flavor but in a relaxed ambience over a glass of whiskey, the name Spicery by Sigree struck instantly! ???????? And what a wise decision it was. This place has turned itself down from the earlier Barcelos avatar to a more Chadni Chowk wala vibe and it caught our attention. ???? Vibrant and bright!???? ⭕ What We Had ⛔ Appetiser We asked for recco from the very helpful service person and ✨Spicery Kebab Platter✨ was the instant suggestion and what a platter it was! Each kebab of fish, chicken, prawn and mutton in the platter was lip-smacking! ❤️ We were in for some more appetisers and the next recco was ✨Tandoori Bhetki✨ and ✨Champan Tey Botiyan✨. ✨Tandoori Bhetki✨ was fresh and killer in taste, post tandoored! However ???? Star was the mutton ✨Champan Tey Botiyan✨. It was served like a sizzler and the mutton was just perfectly cooked and oozed spices! We literally digged into it with our fingers!❤️ ⛔ Mains For mains, we kept it simple. Some keema kulch, butter nan and steamed rice with ✨Kerala Egg Roast✨ and ✨Lavand e Murgh✨. ✨Lavand e Murg✨ was a creamy coconut based preparation and an almost perfect companion for the nan. But then what was the Perfect companion? It's the ✨Kerala Egg Roast✨. Bit spicy but who thought that the more well-known dish with chicken or mutton, can become so delectable with egg as well. Pure love and we just cleaned it off! ⛔ Dessert There was still some more space in our belly for some desert and ✨Gulab Jamun Cheesecake✨ lured us. Well, I have thing for dessert and the gulab jamun base of the cheesecake was something that my pallete and heart will remember for a long time. ⭕ Service Words will fall short for the prompt service of the staff. To appreciate their attention to detail, seeing my mini Honuman, they brought him a complimentary ✨French Fry bowl and a fruit cake slice✨ for the kiddo! Boy he was happy! So ???? for the service and the staff! ⭕ Pinch or punch in my pocket? All this was summed up to around INR 4K without alcohol. Mind it, we were kind of overstuffed at the end of this food extravaganza!
