Still one of the go to places in Kolkata for exquisite cuisine. loved the dishes and the ambiance. food and behaviour well exceptional. They have maintained the taste and quantity for years now and it doesn't feel like it will drop anytime soon. I'll always come to this place and recommend my friends and family here. The establishment prides itself on every dish being a signature creation, a claim reiterated by the manager. However, my dining experience revealed a different narrative. While each item may bear the label of "signature," a discerning palate unveils cost-cutting measures masked beneath this facade. For instance, the Chinese chicken dishes predominantly feature minced chicken rather than the expected solid cuts. Queries to the manager regarding this discrepancy are met with a rehearsed response - it's simply the chef's signature touch. Moving to the bar, disappointment looms large. The liquor selection, touted with enthusiasm, falls short of expectations. The Ballantine whiskey, supposedly on offer, lacked the familiar flavor profile, hinting at possible adulteration. However, amidst this disappointment, one ray of hope emerges in the form of an Indian blended whiskey, delivering a perfect palate experience. Regrettably, the discomfort extends beyond the plate and glass. A significant portion of the air conditioning units was out of order, leaving guests to contend with an atmosphere of discomfort. In conclusion, spice kraft offers a cautionary tale in dining. While confidence may be abundant, it often masks shortcomings in both culinary execution and ambiance.
