The briyani tasted quite poor. We ordered pepper BBQ, but were served tandoori chicken sprinkled with pepper instead. The Pallipalayam chicken had mostly coconut with very few chicken pieces. The Kadai chicken gravy was extremely disappointing and lacked flavour. Overall, the restaurant experience was below average. Importantly, they took a very longer time to serve the dishes even though the restaurant was empty. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400

We had a very good experience at **SONA RESTAURANT (சோனா ரெஸ்டாரண்ட்)**. The place is neat and well-maintained with enough space for families and groups. The food was served hot, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were available, and the taste was excellent with good portion sizes. The staff were polite and attentive, making sure we were comfortable. Service was a bit slow during busy hours, but overall the hospitality was nice. Parking space is available nearby which makes it convenient for travelers. A good restaurant on the highway where you can stop for a proper meal. Definitely worth trying if you’re passing through.
