Highly Disappointed – Misleading Booking via Zomato Dineout We had a terrible experience yesterday at Gilt Club, Kharadi. It was my friend’s birthday and we were a group of 8 people, all excited and dressed up. I booked the table through Zomato Dineout and paid ₹200 for the group, assuming entry was covered. However, when we reached the venue, they refused to let us in, stating that only couple entries are allowed and male stag entries would be charged ₹2,000 per person. This rule was nowhere mentioned in the terms & conditions while booking on Zomato Dineout. This completely ruined our evening and birthday celebration. It felt like we were scammed — we followed the process, paid for the reservation, and still got turned away. Clubs like this are taking advantage of the system and fooling customers, while Zomato Dineout is doing nothing to ensure transparency. I strongly urge Zomato to take strict action against such misleading practices and ensure clear terms are visible during booking. Would not recommend Gilt Club to anyone looking for a hassle-free night out via Zomato Dineout.
