The wonderful flavours of Chinese and Mughlai cuisines attract a number of visitors. You can order perfectly cooked butter chicken, rogan josh and paneer. This restaurant offers food delivery for the convenience of its clients. Sigdi brings the fine service to its guests.
The Lesson which I learnt from today's incident that NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS SIGDI RESTAURANT AGAIN...........................
It is hardly 500 metres (Approx.) away from my place, but it every time its delivery time has been in the usual range of 1 and half hours.
Today, again, I thought maybe its services have improved. But to my shock, it has worsened. The delivery was done after 2 hours (approx.) after the order was placed. The scheduled time was around 1 hour.
On enquiry it was found that both Zomato and the restaurant told me that the reason for delayed delivery was that my door was locked and 2 times the delivery guy has returned back.
Assuming that some naughty kid might have locked the door from outside, I went and found that the door was not locked from outside.
Then I received call from the restaurant that this is the 3rd time he is sending his delivery guy.
This time I preferred to wait outside my door and looked below the stairs to ensure that the delivery guy does not miss this time. After some time, a guy with packed arrived on a bike.
But to my shock, he started ringing the bell of a different door 59 B instead of my mentioned flat
59 D. And again when he was about to leave the place, I overheard him saying that the door is locked and he is going back. At once, I called that guy and enquired about the delivery.
On asking he told me that it was in my name. So, I found out the real reason for the delay.
When I confronted the restaurant that my address is specially written as Flat 59D, then why the hell the delivery guy was ringing the door bell of the locked flat 59B?
To my surprise, the restaurant guy started blaming me. When I asked him that, he being in the food delivery business, needs to ensure that food is delivered to correct address, he started behaving rudely and blamed all of it on me.
Equally responsible were the Zomato guys who blamed me as well by taking the sides of the restaurant without verifying the facts.
The Lesson which I learnt from today's incident that NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS SIGDI RESTAURANT AGAIN.

Haven't tried their dine-in, but would definitely recommend this outlet if you are nearby Sector 135, and wish to get the food delivered.
