A quick detour on our way to the hotel brought us to Shawarma Stop, Wayanad, and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery. The unique ambience caught our attention, and although the place is small, it’s well-organized and comfortable. We ordered the “Original Turkish Shawarma,” and from the very first bite, it was outstanding. The flavours were perfectly balanced—salty, spicy, tangy, and fresh veggie notes all coming together beautifully. The shawarma base was excellent, adding to the overall experience. We paired it with a virgin mojito, which complemented the meal well. Easily one of the best shawarmas I’ve had. Would definitely revisit whenever I’m in Wayanad again.
