Shalimar Restaurant Dishes: Badey ka Qorma, Nihari, Paaye I recently dined at Shalimar Restaurant and focused on their Badey dishes. I tried the Badey ka Qorma, Nihari, and Paaye, and they absolutely nailed these dishes. The Badey ka Qorma was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of spices. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, making each bite melt in your mouth. The Nihari had an authentic taste with just the right amount of spice, and the slow-cooked meat was as soft as butter. I was particularly impressed with the Paaye—the broth was thick, gelatinous, and packed with deep flavors that lingered on the palate. However, while their Badey dishes are outstanding, I found their chicken items to be pretty average. They seemed to lack the same depth and attention to detail that makes the Badey dishes so special. That said, the pricing is very reasonable, and for Badey lovers, Shalimar Restaurant is a fantastic option. If you're craving some authentic, well-prepared Badey dishes, this is the place to go!
