Yesterday I ordered mutton bhuna gosh from shalimar restaurant, jogeshwari branch, but to my surprise the quality of mutton was pathetic, I had not expected this from such a reputed brand.

The most amazing Biryanis and Desserts and Mughlai options to choose from. It's finger -licking good Mutton and Chicken Biryani (which is dum phukt) are both a must try! For 1200₹, 2 people can easily share any good red or green or white gravy with delectable naan spread and a full Mutton or Chicken and you will still crave and finish their Shahi Tukda for the dessert! We washed it all down with some Sweet-Salty Fresh Lime Soda which was also very freshly prepared! I have on occassions tried their Faloodas also which are amazing! With Ramadan season in, they have a special stall for Malpua-Rabdi which is another melt in the mouth delicacy from their kitchen itself! The staff is very friendly, takes care of every little detail and experience even during crowded hours has been amazing! I highly recommend this place for some amazing non-vegetarian dishes but vegetarians won't be disappointed either! The brand stands in place since 1956 and has never let me down! Every morsel of whatever dish I order here, makes me smile! It's a value for money and good food place so go ahead- give it a try this weekend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
