Shahi Qila is an absolute gem near the Attari-Wagah Border. From the moment you step in, the ambiance gives off a traditional yet vibrant Punjabi vibe — think colorful decor, rustic charm, and a festive atmosphere. It's a great place to unwind after experiencing the energy of the border ceremony. The food is the real highlight here. The menu is quite diverse — from rich and creamy North Indian curries to fast food options like pizzas, Chinese, and even desi snacks. The paneer butter masala was incredibly flavorful, and the naan was soft and fresh. Their biryani was aromatic and cooked perfectly. For those who prefer something lighter, they also offer some really good street food-style items. Service was top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. They were quick with recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. What makes this place extra special is its location. You're just a few minutes from the actual border, so it’s perfect for grabbing a meal either before or after the ceremony. They’ve even got a kids' play area and often host live music or folk performances, which adds to the experience. Overall, it’s not just a restaurant — it’s part of the Wagah Border experience.
