We have tried out many dishes in this restaurant during our 6 nights stay in The Flora Residency hotel. Dishes which we tried & their review-. Butter Nan - Soft and easy to chew. Prawns Bhuna - Very tasty tomato and onion thick gravy. Mild spiced. We loved it so ordered it twice. Veg Pulav - Had a slight smokey flavour which enhanced the flavours. It had ample of green peas, carrots & a few cauliflower pieces. Tandoori Pomfret - Taste was good. Not very spicy. Mint Green chutney which was accompanied with it was flavourful. Price wise it was on higher side compared to the size of Pomfret. Dal Khichdi - Smokey flavour made this comfort food tasty. Though I expected Roasted Papad to be accompanied with it which wasn't served. They served us just mango pickle. In this hotel Roasted papad costs 80 Rs for 3 papads which is not reasonable price. Chicken Angara - Best dishes of all. It was served as Sizzler. Super Tasty gravy it was. Chicken was soft. Cream of Chicken soup - Good if you want to have some light food. Though it can be improved. Schezwan Lollipop - Super spicy and there was lot of Maida coating. Did not like it. Veg Hakka noodles - Good though felt quantity was little less. Overall this restaurant has tasty food. Cost for 3 people is about 1200 Rs. They also have Buffet dinners which costs about 500 per person. We haven't tried their buffet though. But if you are looking for Goan local food then this might not be the place as they have limited fishes. Goan local fishes like Chonak, Muddoshi cannot be found in their menu. Suggestion to Hotel Management -. Chapatis should be part of the Hotel menu. Guests who stay for longer time find it difficult to eat Maida Nans or Laccha Parathas or Tandoori rotis each day as they are difficult to digest compared to Chapatis.
