Got delayed in posting, as got busy with Diwali preparations. And was busy, post Diwali too.
A Pre Diwali meet, at Scribble Cafe Bar, Viman Nagar.
It was a lovely evening, catching up with other members. Met a few new faces too.
There were... Welcome Mocktails... Kiwi & Strawberry flavoured... They were light and good.
And in Veg Starters, we had... Potato Cheese Croquettes... These were pretty good.
Crispy Vegetable in Hot Garlic Sauce... Again, nice and with a bite.
Mexican Cartel Mini Pizza... Light, thin crust pizza.
Non Veg Starters were...
Crispy Chicken in Hunan Sauce... loved these.
Sesame Chicken... Again nice and crunchy, sprinkled with sesame.
Fish Fingers in Tartar Sauce... Loved this.... The fish fingers were very good.
And the Main Course consisted of...
Veg Au'Gratin... nice , light dish.
Veg Maratha... Veg balls, in spicy Kolhapuri masala.
Chicken Stroganoff with herbed rice... Wish it had more of chicken, instead of so many vegetables.
Chicken Adraki... Well made chicken, with ginger jullienns.
Dal Tadka... Yellow Dal, with garlic tadka.
Jeera Rice... Regular jeera rice.
Assorted Indian Breads... with naan, tandoori roti, missi roti.
Green Salad and Papad.
Desserts
Chocolate Mousse... This was ok more like a Mousse.
Mini, Hot Gulab Jamun with Vanilla Ice-cream.... Were great and well made.
The starters were the best. And very filling too.
And the mini gulab jamuns with ice cream.
All this, at a special, all inclusive price of Rs. 600/-
Rs. 300/- for children below 12 years.
