This is my father’s favourite spot. However I visited for the first time. We ordered King Fish and Veg thali. The food was fresh, authentic, tasty and easy on the gut. The service is excellent and the owner is very warm and welcoming. Indeed the best spot to try authentic Goan food. Sawant restaurant is a decent place serving regular and special Goan veg/ non veg thalis. Ambience is decent not fancy though, Serving tasty food with sufficient quantity. The best part we experienced was the quality of fish ! having visited in monsoon season when fish isn’t available freshly we were glad to taste some tasty modso (fish) thali. Do visit if craving for some home made fish / veg thali at Verna industrial estate Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
