Beware — this place seems to be running a scam. I paid the full bill amount through UPI, and the money was successfully deducted from my account. However, they claimed they didn’t receive it and promised to refund me if the payment reflected later. It’s been 3–4 days now, and despite multiple follow-ups and even sharing my bank statement, there’s been no update. The owner has now started ignoring my calls and messages. Later, I came to know that the same thing has happened to 3–4 other people as well. It looks like they are taking advantage of travellers who can’t stay and follow up. This place is just themed based on south Indian dishes & arrangement is just as normal as other restaurants. We had ordered varieties of dosas along with soft drinks. Taste is these foods was just awesome & blue lagoon was beyond expectation. Service was very good but there was bit waiting after ordering the food. Atmosphere was good along with moderate crowd during dinner time. Ambiance was least to be seen at this place since gathering was more than required for the place to be expected. Sankalp Restaurant is one of the best places in Udaipur for authentic South Indian food. Their dosas are crispy and perfectly cooked, served with a variety of flavorful chutneys and sambar. Other dishes like idli and uthappa are equally great. The ambiance is cozy, making it ideal for family meals. While service is generally quick, there can be slight delays on busy days, but they manage it well, and the staff is courteous. Their commitment to cleanliness and quality food is commendable.
