Sahoo Hotel is a well-known place, but my recent visit felt quite average, especially considering it is peak season. The prices are a little high compared to the overall experience, and the taste of most items was only medium. We ordered chicken biryani, chicken meal, roti, and paneer butter masala. Among all these, the chicken meal stood out as the best item. It was awesome, flavorful, and really satisfying. The quantity was good and the taste was balanced, making it the highlight of our order. The chicken biryani looked very attractive when served. The presentation was beautiful, and the quantity was more than enough, with around six pieces of medium-sized chicken and a lot of rice. However, despite the good appearance and generous portion, the taste was disappointing. I couldn’t even finish a full plate, as the flavor was not rich or appealing enough. The same issue was noticed with the paneer butter masala. It looked good visually, but the taste did not match expectations and felt quite ordinary. Roti was fine, but overall the food quality needs improvement, especially in taste consistency. Service quality also needs attention, as it was slow and not very professional. Hygiene standards should be maintained better, which is very important, particularly during peak season. Overall, Sahoo Hotel has potential, but improvements in taste, service, and hygiene are necessary to meet customer expectations.
