This restaurant and Suvarna Temple can be both really attractive for tourists. According to the guests' comments, Chinese and Indian dishes here are quite good. Taste good tomato soup, butter chicken and salads that are offered at Saffron Spice. You can share tasty vanilla ice cream and perfectly cooked gulab jamun with your friends and spend a nice time here. Most likely, you'll return to this place later to order great juice.
The great location of this spot makes it easy to reach by any transport. The nice staff welcomes people all year round. Fine service is something that guests highlight in their reviews. You will pay attractive prices for your meal. There is a cool ambiance and homey decor at this restaurant. But Saffron Spice isn't given a high rating on Trip.

Situated at one of the prime locations of the Mumbai suburbs, a very old name in the restaurant family. The Saffron Spice. The entrance itself is grand .it was verrrry hungry afternoon and we better opted for the buffet than ala carte. I would say the amount charged by the restaurant for the buffet and the number of varieties and the liveliness of the food didn't match. I definitely did expect more. The starters per se were damn good and tasty...
My friend had all the veg starters and did not like them to say the least. The main course was much better. Mutton biryani, pomfret and rice was well made. I liked their dal tadka as well as three out of four salads. Indian desserts, phirni, gulab jamun and halwa were all delectable! The ice cream was vanilla and tasted as though made by one of the waiters at his home! Service was average.
Overall good place to have team lunch. did not try their ala carte though.
