SVNIT Canteen caters to over 5,500 students daily with a wide spread of South Indian, Chinese, North Indian snacks, and even ice creams and cold drinks—all at budget-friendly prices (₹1–200). Masala dosa and sandwiches are especially popular. --- Ambience & Seating. Located just a few meters from the main gate, it’s a buzzing hub for academic chats, event planning, and casual hangouts. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors, though the ambience is described as basic and functional. --- Timings & Accessibility. Open from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, the canteen is easily accessible and even has space for small celebrations. It’s just 0.83 km from Pipolod railway station, making it convenient for visitors. --- Areas for Improvement. While the food variety is appreciated, tea quality and menu consistency could use a refresh. Some students feel the space gets congested during peak hours.
