I have been missing a genuine Tamil or Chettinad style food here in Namma Mysore. So, Naturally i was excited when i saw a vlog about this place. I could only come here today for lunch only to realize how big a mistake it was. You can see there is a counter at the ground floor for express service i suppose. It was however closed. So i went to Restaurant on the roof. Its a covered space protecting us from the elements, with around 15 tables. Scarcely populated on a weekday at lunch suggests its not popular with the working class. I saw this as a blessing in disguise, hoping to get some close attention, timely and superior service. Person taking te order seemed rather interested and kind of helpful with placing the order. But i was unaware that things would only go downhill from here on. I ordered Fresh Lime Soda, Omelet and Veg Thali. Easily waited around 15 mis before anyone appeared at the table again. The service boy laid a plantain leaf and put salt and pickle on one side. Salt very quickly dispersed all over due to fan. I requested him to eithet reduce the speed or to turn it off to which he gave me a look as thou i asked for his property to be written on my name and didn't show any interest in attending to my request. Infact didn't turn up a my table again. After waiting for some more time one lady apologetically came with the Omelet explaining that the cook has not come to work today and guess she was pitching in. I felt sorry for her and the management. I again made the request to turn the fan off with her hoping to get some action to be taken but guess she had other things worrying her so again my concern was ignored. Then my meals was served with chapati which i had specifically asked not to be given. The Omelet was masala Omelet while i asked for plain or regular one. I again didn't make any fuss about it. The meals was tasteless for the lack of salt and the salt served was all over and i scrapped it from all over the leaf to somehow manage finishing my meal.. Nobody bothered to give the bill do i myself walked upto the cashier table only to find a small boy sitting there asking me which table.. i had no clue what to answer or how to proceed further. Luckily his parents the person taking my order and lady who brought the masala Omelet came and helped with the bill payment. I was relieved that my troubles with the lunch today came to an end... If you are understaffed or missing the key member.. * you can keep shutters down for the day but is bad for the business if you actually had good footfall everyday. * close section of the restaurant and concentrate on fewer tables so as not to hurt business and customers time. * have selected and reduced menu so as to be able to prepare and serve quickly. * if you can't do any of those, set expectations of delay beyond normal time for service. None of the preventive measures were taken and i could see several people/tables suffering today. Sorry but this is not good business and i surely will not return. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Decent place with both veg and non veg options on a rooftop setting. Would recommend going in the evening.
