The tea was as bad as Sharma ji ki chaai is nowadays. Folks who've lived and experienced good food in Lucknow since generations will probably not enjoy this tea.

On my quest for good tea, I found “Sharma Chai” on Google after realizing Sharma Ji Ki Chai was closed. After trying their chai and bun maska, I realized the difference between Sharma Chai and Sharma Ji Ki Chai is that little “Ji” — it stands for respect, and that respect comes only with good tea and food. Unfortunately, the tea here was overly sweet, and the bun was quite dry. Not for me.
