Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended for Families I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience at Rustic Spices Cafe and Restaurant was unacceptable and deserves to be shared. We had made a reservation via Swiggy Dineout, expecting a smooth and pleasant dining experience. However, things took a turn for the worse when it came time to settle the bill. Despite the booking being made through a digital platform, the restaurant owner rudely insisted on cash payment, completely disregarding the terms of the booking. This was not a polite request—it was aggressive, confrontational, and deeply uncomfortable, especially with our entire family present. The owner's behavior was shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of calmly explaining any issue, he chose to raise his voice and behave rudely, creating a tense and embarrassing situation. It felt like we were being harassed for simply following the process we had booked through. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially for a place that claims to be family-friendly. The lack of courtesy, refusal to honor digital payment options, and the owner's hostile attitude left a very bitter impression. We left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I strongly advise others to avoid this place, especially if you're dining with family or expecting a professional and courteous service. There are plenty of better restaurants that value their customers and honor their commitments.
