    As a weekend getaway Mussoorie is highly overrated… very crowded and commercial . Only saving grace is landour which is the highest point in Mussoorie with Cantonment and DRDO base located.. Rokeby manor’s location right there adds to its beauty. It is one of the very few luxury hotels in Mussoorie which has maintained its rustic charm and old colonial style of rooms and villas. With emily’s and landour bakehouse - a quaint, mountain bakery and restaurant which serves a delicious array of unique handmade cakes, pastries and sandwiches, some of which are from recipes dating back to the late 1890’s is not just feast for the eyes .but for the soul too. The staff is very warm and welcoming. Special word of appreciation for kitchen staff who patiently prepared meals as per our tastes and requests . Bell boy parvesh , reception staff harshit shahnawaz and all other members of team rokeby for making our stay memorable. Highly recommend it …

    My fairly frequent visits to Landour are made special by my stays in Rokeby! I love its colonial heritage combined with contemporary ambience and style...... it’s comfort and warmth...... helpful staff who are forever eager to please..... the spectacular views from its gardens and windows of the rooms..... gourmet delights at Emily’s..... its quiet neighborhood and the long walks around the property!! Rokeby Manor offers a delightful experience and i am forever grateful for it to be there during my travels to Landour!
