Though billed as a cafe, the kitchen clearly boasts ambitions far exceeding typical brunch fare. The Avocado Toast was a revelation: perfectly grilled sourdough served as the foundation for a decadent, meticulously layered fan of ripe avocado, artfully seasoned with black sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds. The presentation, garnished with a vibrant sprig of parsley, suggested a care and precision usually reserved for fine dining.
